Baltimore Courthouses for DUI Cases

Here is some information about courthouses in Baltimore City and Baltimore County in the case that you are facing DUI charges in Baltimore.
The Baltimore City District Courthouse is located in the Borgerding District Court Building, located at 5800 Wabash Avenue, in Baltimore, Maryland. This courthouse’s hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The courthouse has street parking and parking garages nearby as well as public transportation stops including the Rogers and Reisterstown Plaza Metro stations.
Cell phones and personal electronic devices will be allowed in the Baltimore City District Courthouse, but they must be turned off or on silent while inside the building.

Directions: From I-695 N, take the Exit 18 to Lochern (Liberty Road/Route 26). At the fifth light, make a left onto Patterson Avenue. You will be across the street from Woodlawn Cemetery (approximately two to three miles). After you pass the second light, get in the right lane and bear right at Wabash. At the first intersection, the Edward F. Borgerding Courthouse building can be seen on the right.
From I-695 S, take Exit 20 to Reisterstown Road- Pikesville. About two to three miles down you will pass Reisterstown Road Shopping Center on the right-hand side. At this point you want to be in the right lane. On the far end of the shopping center, merge onto Patterson Avenue. Make a left at the second light onto Wabash Avenue. The building is on the right side.
From downtown Baltimore, take the Jones Falls Expressway to Northern Parkway West and follow it until you reach Reisterstown Road (about two to three miles). At that point, cross the intersection and get in the right-hand lane. It will merge onto Wabash Avenue. At the first intersection you can see the building on your left; make a right into the parking lot.

Cell phones are currently permitted in the Baltimore County Circuit Courthouse, but they must be either turned off or put in silent mode in the courtroom. Failure to abide by these rules will result in serious legal consequences.

Directions: From Annapolis, take Route 50 West to I-97 North/Exit 21 toward Baltimore. Take I-695 West/Exit 17A toward Baltimore/Towson and merge onto I-695 West. Take Route 695 to Exit 26/York Road. [Alternatively, you can take Exit 27 to Dulaney Valley Road, which will intersect with York Road] Continue south on York Road until you come to Chesapeake Avenue. Turn left on Chesapeake Avenue. District Court is located on the right.
From north of Baltimore, take Route 695 to Exit 26 – York Road. [Or take exit 27 (Dulaney Valley Road) which will intersect with York Road] Continue south on York Road until you come to Chesapeake Avenue. Turn left on Chesapeake Avenue. District Court location is on the right.

Parking

Turn left on Chesapeake Avenue. Drive around the block to look for a meter outside of the court’s building and the court house. Alternatively, there are two parking garages on the right on Chesapeake Avenue.

Essex District Court

Directions: Route 695 to exit 35, Pulaski Highway. East on Pulaski Hwy. for 1 mile. Right turn on Martin Blvd. Court is located on right side at intersection of Kelso Drive and Martin Blvd.

Parking

When turning into the court from Kelso Dr, an open-air lot is the first left turn from the main driveway.

Catonsville District Court

Parking

The court has a free, open-air lot with two entrances from Walker Ave.
